Abstract

361,043. Vehicle headlamps. LEGGATT, W., 240, Edgware Road, London. Sept. 15, 1930, No. 27556. [Class 75 (iv).] In a head-lamp having two paraboloid reflecting surfaces with a source of light situated above or below the common axis of the reflector which common axis is located above or below the centre of the lamp casing, the lamp bulb is supported from the front of the lamp. Radial arms c connected to an outer ring member e carry a socket member, in which slides a movable socket carrying the lamp bulb f, the rotation of which is prevented by a pin-andslot device. The bulb is adjusted by a screw j located within an insulating bush k and anchored in a segmental piece l fixed to the framework. Specification 342,652 is referred to.
