Abstract

1,031,826. Vehicle headlamps. P. VIGERIE. Dec. 17, 1962 [April 19, 1962], No. 47607/62. Heading F4R. A headlamp for motor vehicles comprises a bifocal parabolic reflector 1 fitted with a bulb 4 for the main beam and a bulb 2 for the dipped beam, the transparent front 8 of the lamp being connected to the reflector by screws 7 and associated springs 10 for minimizing vibration and permitting the adjustment of the reflector. The front 8 has a ring 8a provided with curved slots into which pins 12 on a collar 9 fixed to the body of the vehicle. A small hemispherical reflector 5 is associated with the bulb 4.
