1382135 Vehicle headlamps DUCELLIER & CIE 13 July 1972 [20 July 1971] 32778/72 Heading F4R A vehicle headlamp comprises a reflector and an incandescent lamp bulb having a single horizontal filament disposed at the focus of the reflector, the bulb being securable in a holder in either of two alternative positions in one of which the filament extends in the direction of the optical axis of the reflector and produces a long range beam and in the other of which the filament extends at right angles to the axis and produces a shorter, wider beam.
