Vehicle and like lamps; projectors.-An antiglare headlight or other projecting lamp comprises a parabolic reflector 5 with a modified cylindrical extension 9 for concentrating the light rays into a beam and a secondary reflector R having a plurality of reflecting planes for dividing the beam into pencils of rays and adapted to distribute said rays exclusively upon any area to be illuminated. In one form, the reflector R is mounted on a visor-shaped casing 8, and the reflector 5 is carried by a cup-shaped housing 6. The reflecting planes on the reflector R may blend into a smooth curve.
