Abstract
356,090. Duplex wireless signalling. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C., 1, Lorenzweg, Tempelhof, Berlin. March 7, 1931, No. 7189. Convention date, April 28, 1930. [Class 40 (v).] An aerial system, particularly for use in a duplex system, comprises a dipole aerial AA to the tuning coil I of which is coupled a coil 4 connected to the transmitter, while the receiver is connected to a coil 3, coupled to a coil 2 connected between the centre point P of a differential variometer V1, V2 and earth. The variometer is tapped across the tuning coil 1, and is arranged so that with a single adjustment the inductances V<1>, V<2> may be varied in value in opposite directions so that the point P may be made to correspond with the electrical centre of the aerial system. The variometer may be replaced by a differential condenser.
