Abstract

496,647. Wireless signalling. CORK, E. C., and PAWSEY, J. L. May 1, 1937, No. 12481. [Class 40 (v)] The length, which may be zero, of a feeder 4 is so calculated that the variation of the impedance of the aerial 5 over a band of frequencies, as viewed from the transmitter or receiver 2, 3<1>, is substantially opposite in sense and equal in value to the variation in impedance of the transmitter or receiver itself over said band of frequencies. Auto-transformer coupling, as shown, may be used between the transmitter or receiver, and the feeder or aerial. Specification 469,245 is referred to.
