Abstract
515,710. Wireless receiving systems. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. June 9, 1938, No. 17229. Convention date, June 9, 1937. Addition to 501,051. [Class 40 (v)] The aerial input-coupling described in the parent Specification is modified by taking the output from the points O, at the end of the two-wire line L and the impedance-matching network, so as to facilitate the reception of short-wave signals. For such signals the input voltage is developed across the surge resistance W, whilst for other wave-bands it appears mainly across the condenser C. The short-wave transformer K, comprising only a few turns, does not introduce any appreciable inductance when receiving the longer waves.
