Abstract

[Class 40 (iii).] A condenser coupling 6 between the input and the grid of the first valve in a super. heterodyne receiver additional to the normal coupling and provided to suppress second channel interference is connected to a low potential point in the aerial circuit obtained by connecting a larger condenser 8 in the earth lead. The ratio between the capacities is preferably large and the capacities may have values of 1000 cm. and 5 cm. The coupling capacity is preferably adjustable.
