Abstract

468,834. Transformers. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., and WRIGHT, G. M. Dec. 13, 1935, No. 34662. [Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XL] In a homodyne receiver an electron beam valve is used prior to the detecting stage to provide an isolating valve stage. The isolating valve may be one of the type described in Specification 403,973 or 453,137, [both in Group XL]. The coupling circuit 15 may be a transformer with primary and secondary windings of substantially the same length and number of turns with a fine wire secondary and a stranded wire primary.
