Abstract

Directive signalling; aerials.-In a directive receiving system employing a rotating frame, the frame consists of the two oppositely wound coils 1, 2 connected as shown to a tuning condenser 5 and a receiving set 6. With this arrangement, the effects of the electrical field in the two coils, when the frame is in its minimum position for the electromagnetic field, neutralize each other and a sharp minimum position is obtained.
