Abstract
355,511. Roller grinding or crushing mills. BRINJES & GOODWIN, Ltd. and SEAMAN, C. F. N., Burdett Works, Wallwood Street, Limehouse, London. Aug. 22, 1930, No. 25166. [Class 59.] A roller mill comprises a preferably unadjustable roller 5, a horizontally adjustable roller 4 and a vertically adjustable roller 3, the adjustable rollers being movable between the limits 19, 20 and 21, 22 respectively. Lines drawn normal to these limits intersect in a shaft 24 carrying gear wheels 28, 29 which engage with gear wheels 30, 31 on the shafts of the adjustable rollers 3, 4 respectively. The opposite end of the shaft 24 carries a gear wheel which drives a gear wheel on the roller 5 through an idler wheel. The idler wheel shaft or the shaft 24 may be driven. The roller adjustment may be of the kind described in Specification 330,923, [Class 59, Grinding, crushing, &c.].
