Roller mills. - The rollers are driven by means of a pair of gear wheels mounted in a fixed manner, through an articulated connection of elastic construction, universal joint, rocking pin, or the like. As shown, the rollers 4, 5 are driven from the driving-shaft 1 through a pair of wheels 2, 3 and two coupling- spindles 6, 7 of elastic construction. When one only of the rollers is elastically mounted, the coupling-spindle of that roller only need bo elastic.
