Abstract

348,428. Earth-continuity couplingsÀ LUNDBERG & SONS, Ltd., A. P. and PEGG, G., 477, Liverpool Road, Holloway, London. June 13, 1930, No. 18170. [Class 38 (i).] Plug and twopart couplings.-An adapter comprises a multiple-pin plug unitary with a bayonet socket coupling, one of the plug-pins being electrically connected to the bayonet socket itself, more particularly for earthing purposes. The plug-pins 1, 3 are movably mounted in slotted guides 5 contained in recesses in an insulating base 4 on which also a bayonet socket coupling is mounted. The spring plunger contacts 13 are connected to the two pins 3 and the metal socket 8 containing the bayonet slots is connected electrically to the earthing pin 1. Specifications 232,422 and 278,598, [both in Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.], are referred to.
