Abstract

366,398. Two-part couplings. LUNDBERG & SONS, Ltd., A. P. and PEGG, G., 477, Liverpool Road, Holloway, London. May 30, 1931, No. 15888. [Class 38 (i).] A pin or socket contact 15, 17 is built up of three sections, two conducting extremities 43, 45 being mounted upon an insulating body 41. Each extremity is forced with a tongue 53, 55 or other means for securing the ends of a fuse wire 57. One extremity carries or is formed as a terminal 47. The pin may be employed in an adapter of the kind described in Specification 250,741, [Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.], having a reversible member 27 carrying adjustable and interchangeable pins 29 at one end, and a bayonet coupling 31 at the other, sockets 33 being provided at each end connected to the respective contacts and arranged to fit the pins 15, 17. In another embodiment, separate pin contacts are placed in recesses in the body of a bayonet connector, the pins entering sockets formed in the back of the bayonet connector contacts.
