Plug couplings.-A plug-member B forming the connection for a main circuit to a wall-socket, and fitted with sockets for a subsidiary circuit is provided with fuses and an earthing-connection for the subsidiary circuit. The live pins b<2> of the main circuit have terminals b<13> by which a connection is made through links f, g with one end of the fuse wires d, e, the other end being connected to the live sockets c<1>, c<2> of the subsidiary circuit. An earthing pin b<3>, which may also serve to operate a switch on the wall fitting, is connected to a plate i that carries an earthing socket c<3> for the subsidiary circuit and a terminal i<4> for an earth lead. The fuses are located in grooves d', e<1> on the opposite face of the block b<4> to that carrying the plate i and the terminals and fuses are separated by projecting shrouds that enter recesses in a protuberance on the inside of the cover.
