Abstract

The electrical power socket group is capable of accepting a wide range of male connectors or plugs including those of foreign standard. Each such group may contain three sockets in line within the same casing, the live and neutral terminals being electrically connected directly in parallel. The connection is made by sprung electrically conducting blades arranged in line and broken at the entry points of the male contact elements. The extremities of two such blades serve each entry point one blade being above the entry and the second below. The sprung leaves are held in place by insulating blocks at the extreme ends of the casing and between the individual sockets.
