396,993. Electric-lamp holders. HOCHKÍPPER, P., WINKEL, 0., 49, Gartenstrasse, and ASSMANN, E., 5, Lindenau, both in L³denscheid, Germany, (trading as HOCHKÍPPER & CO., P.). Dec. 10, 1932, No. 35078. Convention date, Dec. 12, 1931. [Class 39 (ii).] An adapter provided with a plug by which it can be connected to a flexible conductor and a switch for remote control consists of an insulating casing formed in two halves secured together by screws &c. and holding the conducting portions in recesses in the halves without further fixing means. The casing a is hollow and the two halves are secured at the upper end by a screw s and at the lower by the holder sleeve h. One plunger f is connected by a rod e to one of the contacts u, and the other to one of two sockets k, the other socket k being connected to the second contact t. Pins o on a plug m connected to a switch q engage the sockets k and are secured against accidental withdrawal by a spring pin l engaging a groove in one of the pins.
