Abstract
403,526. Electric - lamp holders. HOCHKOPPER, P., WINKEL, O., 49, Gartenstrasse, and ASSMANN, E., 5, Lindenau, both in L³denscheid, Germany, (trading as HOCHKOPPER & CO., P.). Dec. 19, 1932, No. 35956. Convention date, Dec. 19, 1931. [Class 39 (ii).] In order that two lamps in separate sockets may be controlled by the same distant switch an adapter A is employed from which conductors I, II, III proceed to a second adapter B and the switch C. The adapters are made in two halves of moulded insulating material held together by screws and gripping the conducting portions between them. The adapter A contains a conductor j connecting a contact plate n<1> to a plunger k and carrying a terminal g to which the conductor III is connected. The second contact plate n is connected to a terminal e, to which is secured the conductor I, and the second plunger i to a terminal f to which is secured the conductor II. The conductors I and II proceed direct to the switch C, but the conductor III is interrupted and connected to the plungers l, l<1> in the adapter B, Fig. 4. The conductors I, II may pass through a hole in the adapter B.
