675,111. Junction boxes ; fuse-boards. GILBERT, T. J., and HESKETH, J. B. FERMOR-. Aug. 17, 1950 [Sept. 13, 1949], No. 23612/49. Class 38 (i). To enable a connector unit 7 to be easily inserted in a bus-bar assembly 3 having circular, part-circular or arcuate sectioned busbars 1, 1<SP>1</SP>, the unit has contact-pins 11, 11<SP>1</SP> with V-shaped recesses 14 to contact the bus-bars, the unit and the assembly being held together by a lever-catch 23, 24, 25 bridging both. Preferably the bus-bars are supported in insulating blocks 2 having bores 6 which guide the pins 11, 11<SP>1</SP> against the bus-bars, the pins being spring-urged into contact. To ensure correct coupling one pin 11<SP>1</SP> and the bore therefor are of different size from the others and projecting guides 22 on the unit slide into corresponding bores on the bus-bar assembly. The contactpins are connected to fuses 17 in the unit by conducting metal loops 18.
