511,376. Fusible cut-outs. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., McLOUGHLIN, H. F., and HARRISON, B. G. March 30, 1938, Nos. 9686/38 and 10280/39. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] A cartridge fuse j, Fig. 4, is inserted in a shallow, longitudinal slot in a holder k which is rotated, e.g. by a knurled wheel l, so that the fuse is pressed into circuit between contacts p<1>, Fig. 3. A spring o bears against flat surfaces on the holder k to keep the holder in either of the two positions shown. In a modification, the holder has apertures which register with sockets in the base when the fuse is in the operative position so that a plug may be inserted, Figs. 5, 8 not shown.
