Abstract
345,603. Optical-projection apparatus. ZEISS, C., Carl-Zeiss-Strasse, Jena, Germany. Aug. 1, 1930, No. 23202. Convention date, Aug. 3, 1929. [Class 97 (i).] In apparatus wherein the light source is above the object to be projected, and the object carrier and projection screen are substantially horizontal, reflectors are provided between the projection lens and the screen, and the screen is laterally displaced relatively to the object carrier. As shown, a light source 2 and condenser 3 illuminate an object on a carrier 4, and the image beam passing through the lens 5 is first reflected, approximately through a right-angle, by a prism 6, and then by the reflecting face of a prism 7, and by a mirror 8, to produce an image on a screen 9. Apertures 10, 11 in the casing 1 respectively provide access to the object carrier and permit viewing of the screen.
