Optical-projection apparatus; kinematograph apparatus; optical systems.-In order to produce a stereoscopic effect in kinematographic or other projected pictures, the projected image is split into two by means of a transparent reflector 2, and the rejected portion is again reflected by an inclined mirror or prism 4 so as to be superposed upon the transmitted portion on the screen, but slightly out of register. The two images are reflected bv a mirror 6 on to a screen 7, which may be viewed in the mirror 6 by an onlooker from the. position 8.
