Abstract

289,998. Moraz, H. March 8, 1927. Stereoscopic kinematography. - The stereoscopic pictures are produced side by side on a horizontally moving film 4 by means of two objectives 3 placed one above the other. The rays from the object enter two reflecting prisms 1 and from thence pass to two others prisms 2 from which they are reflected through the hypotenusal face of a right-angled prism 6, the reflecting faces of which are so inclined that one set of rays is reflected to one of the objectives 3 and the other set to the other objective as shown. For viewing the films an image is projected by the lens 13 on to a screen 14 in a viewing apparatus, and observed through eyepieces 15.
