Abstract

514,631. Optical-projection apparatus. HATCH G. May 11, 1938, No. 14003. [Class 97 (i)] The casing of a projector for photographs &c. has reflecting surfaces on one or more sides inclined towards an aperture against which the photograph is held by a clip or door, a focusable lens in the side facing the aperture, and one or more lamps and reflectors. As shown, light from a lamp 6 and reflector 10 is reflected by a mirror 2 on a side 1 of the casing to an aperture 3 against which the photograph &c. is held by a clip 9. Projection lenses 4 are provided, one in a tube 5 slidable in a tube 11 for focusing. A slot 7 permits removal of the mirror, and a lip 8 prevents light passing directly from the lamp to the screen.
