Electric stoves.-An electric imitation fire comprises a reflector 8 spaced in front of a reflector 1, a heating- element 2 between the reflectors, a lamp or lamps 3 below the reflector 8, imitation fuel 7 above the lamp, and openings which allow the light to fall on both reflectors. Screens 5, 9 of coloured muranese or like glass may be provided to colour and break up the light falling on the reflectors. A flicker device 4 is preferably provided. The heating-element is substantially hidden by the front reflector.
