Abstract
271,213. Aldis, A. C. W. April 9, 1926. Overhead lamps.-Lamps for simulating daylight comprise in combination one or more lamp bulbs a surrounded by a deep metal reflector b of polygonal cross-section giving the equivalent of a broad source of illumination and a discontinuous screen or filter k made up from two or more pieces of suitable and differently coloured glass. The lower end of the housing d is closed by a plate f which supports a cover plate g on which the glass screen is carried. A spring catch piece i is fitted to prevent accidental displacement of the plate g. Ventilation is effected by supporting the plate g on studs h some distance from the plate f. The screen k consists of two strips of blue-green glass and two inner strips of blue glass with a central gap m. Specifications 27850/11, [Class 75 (ii), Lamp chimneys &c.], and 206,208 are referred to.
