Cam-actuated pumps; casings; stroke, varuing; revolving-cylinder pumps.-A pump for viscose comprises one or more pistons f ball-jointed to a rotating swash-plate h and working in cylinders e ball-jointed to a rotor d. The pump is enclosed in a casing b to prevent leakage. The viscous enters by a pipe a and passes to a suction inlet in the end wall of the casing against which the ported face of the rotor works. It is delivered through a conduit n to the pipe o. The swashplate runs in an inclined stationary member p which may be adjusted by screw and nut t, s to vary the stroke of the plungers. The rotor d may be adjusted towards the end of the casing to take up wear by slackening the nut u and turning the screw v engaging the rotor.
