[Classes 8(i) and 102(i)] A reciprocating pump or compressor comprises a revolving block A provided with a diametral bore C in which is fitted a piston D having a projection E that extends through a slot F. Levers or cams G are pivoted at H to the block and during rotation are engaged by a projection J on the casing B to reciprocate the piston. The casing has an inlet and outlet openings K.
