Abstract

294,364. Bard, P. July 7, 1927. Chimney-tops.-A chimneypot of circular cross-section is provided on its outer surface with a shell 2, 2<1> having its substantially vertical walls arranged tangentially to the. outer surface of the pot so as to provide a series of exterior air passages open at their lower end and communicating with the interior of the pot at their upper ends by means of apertures 3, 3<1> in the wall of the pot. More than one shell may be mounted upon a pot and each is closed at the top and of polygonal cross - section. A cover 7 may be mounted above the pot. If desired, the chimney-top may be formed integrally with the chimney or flue.
