386,286. Chimney tops. HALL, G., 97, Barton Road, Stretford, Lancashire- Oct. 29, 1932, No. 30396. [Class 25.] A chimney-pot A is constructed with a horizontal pipe or duct B, having apertures b on its outer periphery, arranged around the outside of the pot some distance from the top thereof and with substantially vertical pipes c spaced around the pot, each having its lower end opening into the horizontal pipe B between two of the apertures b and its upper end opening into a conical shaped chamber D formed integrally with the pot. Down-draught is prevented by means of external air currents entering the apertures b and passing up the pipes c into the chamber D.
