Chimney tops. - A chimney cowl comprises a body portion b of slightly tapered formation having a flange c adapted to rest on the top of the base a and a conical flange d positioned approximately midway of its length and immediately above inclined openings f in the body portion, a conical collar g being supported on lugs i so as to extend only slightly above the upper end of the body portion. The upper end of the collar g, which may taper either inwardly as shown in full lines or outwardly as shown in broken lines, may also he provided with lugs k adapted to rest on the upper end of the body portion.
