Abstract

305,810. Horsfield, F. A., and Webster, F. P. Feb. 7, 1928. Chimney-tops.-A chimneypot comprises two tubular bodies a, b concentrically disposed one within the other, and the annular passage between them has an open bell-mouthed top g and a recessed or depressed base e. Holes c are provided in the lewer part of the inner body, and drain holes f are formed at the base of the passage. The inner and outer bodies are connected by stays d and the inner member extends several inches above the outer member and is provided with an inwardly turned upper end h. The Provisional Specification describes the inner body as being supported a short distance above the base of the annular passage, no holes being then provided in such body.
