214,890. Parkes, W. H. July 21, 1923. Addition to 211,378. Chimney and ventilating-shaft tops.--A chimney &c. top 1 is provided with updraught inducing units 2 as described and claimed in the parent Specification and is supported by brackets 10, on the upper end of a tubular member 9 attached to the shaft 8, an annular space 11 being left between the parts 1, 9. An open-ended conical liner 12 is secured at its upper and larger end around the top of the part 1 and depends into the member 9 to provide an annular outlet 13. In the case of a ventilating-shaft top a conical weather cover is provided.
