483,490. Chimney &c. tops. LEACHMAN, E. C. Oct. 20, 1936, No. 28502. [Class 25] A cowl or ventilator comprises an outer band curved convexly across its width and enclosing but spaced from top and bottom plates 2, 3 each plate having a dished peripheral portion 5, 7 which curves inwardly from its circumferential edge and which terminates, in the case of the top plate in a domed central portion 6 and in the case of the bottom plate in a central sleeve 8 for connection to the flue or the like. The various curvatures of the upper and lower plates are arcs of circles. Drainage tubes 11 are provided between the plates.
