439,068. Ventilators. LUMSDEN, Ltd., J., and LUMSDEN, J., 51, Lanark Street, Glasgow. Sept. 17, 1934, No. 26607. [Class 137] A ridge roof ventilator consists of an open-ended casing 1 extending from one roof 8 to another, an uptake tube 3 projecting through the bottom wall, and being surrounded by an annular baffle 2. Partition plates with up-turned edges 6 extend inwardly from the ends of the casing which are fitted with gratings 9. The flow of air in either direction through the casing 1 induces an up-draught through the tube 3.
