423,724. Ventilators. LUMSDEN, Ltd., J., and LUMSDEN, J., 51, Lanark Street, Glasgow. Sept. 17, 1934, No. 26609. [Classes 25 and 137] A ventilator suitable for use on a ridge roof comprises an outer storm band 1 surrounding and spaced from a number of superposed annular baffle plates 2 spaced apart to afford outlets from an uptake 4 within a casing 10 mounted on the roof. The baffle plates are surmounted by an inverted funnel 7 terminating below a conical hood 8. The inner peripheries of the baffle plates are upturned at 6 to exclude rain water, and an additional baffle ring 12 may be fitted in the lower end of the space 5 within the storm band.
