[Class 137] Fresh air is admitted to a glasshouse below the eaves of the roof, passes upwardly, and is extracted by one or more flues in the roof. A flue consists in a galvanized iron pipe A having at its top end a conical cap A<1> supported on brackets A<2>, and at its base a disc valve B rotation of which controls the up-draught through the flues.
