482,121. Ventilators. HOLGATE, W. R., and HOLGATE, B. Oct. 20,1937, No. 28526. [Class 137] Air is extracted from an enclosure E by a ventilator comprising a chamber A mounted on the roof and surmounted by a second and wider chamber C leaving passages c<1> between the chambers, the assembly being covered by a top D beneath which are lateral openings c<2>. Air entering the chamber C through passages c<1> and also through openings c<2> passes out through opposite openings c<2>, extracting vitiated air from the chamber A and the enclosure to an amount controlled by adjustment of a pivoted closure member B by cords b. The chamber A may be rectangular or circular in plan.
