481,341. Chimney &c. cowls. MOTTON, G. April 19, 1937, No. 11105. [Class 25] A chimney or like cowl comprises a number of hollow cone elements 1, 2 assembled in superposed and overlapped relation so as to provide an unrestricted bore in axial alignment with the chimney opening, the lower cone overlapping the chimney pot 6 and the several overlaps each extending a substantial distance of the length of a cone element to provide deep annular air channels .3. The cone elements are secured together by brackets 4 and the lower element 2 is secured by a similar bracket 10 to a clamping band 7 surrounding the pot 6.
