Abstract

458,994. Spirit burners. KRAMER, M., 20, Carlton Mansions, Holmeleigh Road, Stamford Hill, London. Aug. 13, 1935, No. 22738. [Class 75 (i)] A spirit burner comprises a box 10 formed with a series of flame apertures 11 near its upper edge and containing a tubular member 14 having a flared upper edge 14b for supporting the cooking utensil projecting above the upper edge of the box. The lower part of the tubular member 14 is formed with apertures by bending outwardly tongues which may make contact with the inside of the box 10. When not in use a lid is fitted over the top of the box. The lid is formed with a lip and may be used to pour spirit into the box 10.
