In the burner shown oil fuel is admitted through the hollow valve h, compressed air through the pipe k, and water or steam through the pipe o, these supplies being simultaneously controlled by means of a valve l. The cooling medium is also supplied through a branch pipe q to the casing surrounding the pilot burner g. Specifications 25811/11 and 221,364 are referred to.
