288,323. Laforge, P. C. N. April 8, 1927, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Locks, revolving-barrel. - A sleeve with an operating handle is rotatable secured on a nut or bolt head and provided with a locking mechanism, whereby the nut or bolt and sleeve may be coupled for operation. comprising a plunger 40 which is depressed against a spring 45 and turned by a key 55 to bring a transverse bore 46 into register with a projection 50 on a sliding member 49 which is thereupon pressed forward by a spring actuated locking piece 51 which couples the nut and sleeve. The coupling is released by a presser bar which acts on a rod in the bore 46 to disengage the sliding member 49 and return the locking piece 51 whereupon the plunger 40 returns to its upper position.
