Dual closure valves. -A tap or cock having two apertures closed consecutively, e.g. laterallv and axially by an axial movement, comprises a solid plain cylinder G with a flat end, preferably a plug H of indiarubber. which is adapted to close the lateral aperture F and then the aperture E in the flat bottom partition of the casing. Packings are provided at P, Q, and R, and the valve is actuated by a rotary knob K which screws on the upper external part of the casing.
