Abstract

159,666. Drinnan, J. Dec. 13, 1919. Plug cocks; handles.-A combined handle and cap C for a through-way plug cock D is secured in position in the casing by an expanding spring ring B engaging grooves in the handle and casing, as shown. Holes F are provided in the casing for the insertion of pins to contract the spring ring when it is desired to dismantle the valve. The head of the plug is recessed for the spring E and shaped to engage the recess in the handle for turning the plug.
