Plug cocks; leakage, preventing. - A plug cock for fluid under high pressure comprises a plug 2 having a stem 3 which works within grease packing 8 compressed by a gland 9. The packing is supported on a screwed ring 6 and a spring 5 is interposed between the ring 6 and the shoulder 4 on the plug 2.
