Abstract
255,455. Minerva Motors Soc. Anon. July 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Valves.-In a heat engine having two concentric sleeve valves, each of the sleeve valves and the cylinder are made of metals or alloys having different coefficients of heat expansion so as to prevent seizing. The cylinder may be of aluminium alloy, the first sleeve valve of high-resistance aluminium bronze or similar alloy with a low coefficient of expansion, and the inner sleeve valve of high-resistance steel, the coefficient of expansion of which is still lower.
