255,271. Hathorn, Davey, & Co., Ltd., and Lupton, H. R. Sept. 25, 1925. Crank-actuated pumps; multiple-acting piston pumps.-In a three-throw pump the middle crank actuates the middle plunger in the opposite direction to the outer plungers by means of crossheads 4, 6 and side rods 5. The three cranks 1 are set 60‹ apart. The crank-shaft is driven by an electric motor 12 through gearing 9, 10.
