Abstract

249,508. Haarnagell, G. March 21, 1925, [Convention date]. Holders for sliding windows.- Window frames of the kind described in Specification 249,116, [Class 20 (iii), Doors &c.], are applied to a vertically-sliding vehicle window sash combined with a fixed upper sash and the rack and gripper holding means are actuated by pivoted spring- pressed handles 22, 23 connected respectively by links 19 and adjustable collars 18 thereon to the grippers 13 at the sides. The sashes are balanced by helical springs housed in tubes 29 on the frame and connected to the sash by brackets 30, 31 in recesses of which the grippers 13 are pivoted. Specification 194,433 also is referred to.
