Abstract

563,609. Windows. MULLER, M. April 30, 1943, No. 6840. [Class 20 (iii)] Means for swinging a sash of sliding double sash windows out of the frame 1 and into the room for cleaning &c., comprise articulated arms C removably pivoted in brackets A on the window frame and carrying adjustable grippers B for engaging the upper and lower members F of the sash frame. The inner beading 4 at least at one side is pivoted to the window frame and the central fillet 6 is carried by links 7 so that it can be pushed up into a longitudinal recess 8 in the frame to facilitate removal of the sash. The sash cords 9 are removably secured to the sashes by the engagement of balls 10 at the sash ends of the cords engaging wire frames 11 secured to the sashes.
