Abstract

568,070. Windows. CLARK, G. May 6, 1943, No. 7164. [Class 20 (iii)] The upper and lower corners at one edge of a window sash 5 are provided with pins 4 pivotally mounted in supports 3 which are slidably mounted in the slotted upper and lower members 2 of the stationary window frame whereby the sash can be rotated, for cleaning, and simultaneously moved along the slots so that what was the loft-hand side of the sash can be moved to become the right-hand. In a modification pinions may be formed on the pins to engage racks in the stationary frame members and locking means for the sash at opposite ends of its travel may be provided. In another form the supports are interconnected by a system of cables and pulleys.
